Meet the makers
Over the weekend, you’ll be welcomed into the kitchens and stores of a selection of boutique local artisan producers, where you get to taste their hand-made cheeses, jams, chocolates and wines. Hear their stories first hand and learn about their methods and passion for their craft. Enjoy the privilege of being invited into their world, to see the workings of their kitchens and taste their produce before it hits the shelves of your local deli.
Enjoy the wines
The Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula are two of Victoria’s significant cooler climate wine growing regions. As part of your gourmet tour, you’ll be treated to sommeliers and winemakers uncorking gems in their barrel rooms for your tutored tastings. You’ll have one-on-one time with names from the wine industry you’ve only read about in magazines! And with a designated driver and Pauline as your hostess all weekend, you can totally relax and enjoy sampling these great wines being offered to you, without worrying about driving or where you’re off to next. Hands-on cooking classes
As one who loves food, you’ll be in foodie heaven, tasting your way around these gourmet food and wine regions of Victoria. You’ll even spend an afternoon cooking up a storm at a hands-on cooking class with your host Pauline Leonard and a local award-winning chef. Learn tips and tricks from these professional chefs and have your culinary questions answered as you prepare a delicious menu to enjoy that evening at dinner.
